Ð ð
Pronounced ‘edh’

Ð is a letter used in Icelandic and Faroese languages. Back in the days also in Scandinavia, Old English, and Middle English.

Where does the name come from? For foreigners, Ð can be seen as D and so it refers to Dance. Using the letter Ð makes it peculiar to Icelandic. That way Ð arrives back to other countries, hinting at an Icelandic culture, where the letter is still in use.
